Okay.. we have our first challenge. See Day 1 to get up to speed.
Charity Challenge #1 details so far:
Charity: The Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Challenge: Dress up!
The requirements for this challenge are: Celebs will play dress up and go to a public place; The local mall, street corner, coffee shop, refresh meeting, etc. They must interact with random passerby’s and this must all be caught on video. The Video will then be uploaded to Viddler.com and tagged “carelebrities” so that it can be embedded back here for proof.
Celebs: We need some celebs (at least 6) to agree to participate. Please harang and harass the interweb celebs you know, and get them to post a comment below stating that they are ready to accept the challenge. I will follow up with them to confirm.. and the next post will be the official start of the first CareLebrities Charity Challenge.
So Remember: Celebs will volunteer to do this challenge, and your job is to donate $ to support your favorite celeb. All $ goes to charity, and glory goes to the celeb that raises the most in donations.
I had this idea at lunch today… What if we got some of the big names from the intertubes to participate in some antics/games/whateva that would get everyone else to donate some money to a good cause. So here is how this will play out: For this first “round” as I will call it, I will choose the charity. And my choice is: The MDA or Muscular Dystrophy Association. Yeah Jerry’s kids FTW.
So now.. We need 2 more things.
Please use the comments Section to suggest Challenges, and Names of Interweb Celebs who should participate… then harass said celebs to send em here and agree to play. I will find a nice Polling plugin for WP and after a few suggestions we will poll to see what challenge and what celebs will be included in the first Round to benefit the MDA.
Essentially people will donate some $ via paypal as a wager on their favorite celeb to complete the challenge / or win the challenge. Challenge has a beginning and end, glory goes to the winner, all $ goes to charity.Check back soon for more.. PLEASE use the comments and start making some suggestions.Thanks!
